Malpi International College is collaborated to the University of Mississippi, Oxford, USA.Malpi students follow the American undergraduate system of studies and are therefore required to complete a general core Malpi curriculum in order to be eligible to graduate (this is typical of all American universities and colleges).
The philosophy behind an American education is to introduce students to the historical panorama of intellectual thought and expression, so that they are familiar with some of the different ways people understand and interact with the world. In order to achieve this goal, students are required to take a wide variety of courses designed to provide a broad foundation for their major area of study
Acquiring the necessary professional and personal skills that will empower students to organize information, to write and speak forcefully, to solve problems and to think both logically and creatively, are all part of an American education.
The Malpi International College program provides students a carefully designed core-curriculum that helps students master Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Oral Communication, English, Science, Humanities and Critical Thinking, as well as to develop an understanding of ethnic and gender diversity. The core curriculum enables students to build the necessary educational foundation to pursue professional and academic opportunities in nearly every field of advanced study.
After completing two years of study in Nepal, students will be well prepared to embark on specialized studies in Engineering, Business and in the fields of Arts and Sciences offered at American universities or they can also complete their 4 year undergraduate studies here at Malpi itself.
Professors at the Malpi International College are all highly qualified and experienced. They come from both the United States and the host country. All course instructions are in English. The course texts and materials are similar to those used in American Universities. These text-books will be available for loan to students in the International College.
